About us

We have always loved the outdoors and spending time with family fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and more. After making a few trips back and forth from the truck to the campsite a few miles into the backcountry carrying hunting and camping equipment in our packs, we knew it was time to obtain some beasts of burden. Horses and mules were not the direction we wanted to go. After listening to some podcasts of hunters who used pack llamas, we started doing some research. The capability of llamas as pack animals drew us to them. Our recreational use of llamas quickly turned into an obsession.

As life-long learners, we dove head-first into learning as much as we could about llamas' care, genetics, and training. We are passionate about the outdoors and having llamas has allowed us to spend our energy exploring rather than packing in our gear. Being headquartered in Gillette, Wyoming, we are nestled between the Black Hills and the Big Horn mountain ranges and just a few hours from the Wind River Range.
